We have a wide selection of rooster necks from both Whiting and Keough. From Whiting, the 4b and American products are particularly worth highlighting. If you buy a whole neck, you get a lot of very nice feathers for a variety of fly sizes. The American necks are Whiting's flagship within rooster necks for wet flies, streamers, and body hackles for all flies that aren't dry flies. Unusually many feathers and very high quality of the individual feathers, thin hackle stems, and very nice clear colors. The 4b necks are also worth highlighting as you really get a lot for your money here – good, beautiful feathers, with shoulders down from the bird as well as the soft hackles that are present here. Both American and 4b are the perfect hackles for coastal flies, body hackles on streamers, and salmon/sea trout flies. There are a variety of different feathers on these necks that can become, for example, palm hackle on various coastal flies such as Gray Fred, Magnus both with and without a blood dot. Furthermore, they have a lot of feathers that are perfect for front hackles and body hackles on salmon and sea trout flies. These are truly fine necks with full value for the money.
