Tungsten Heads
Tungsten has a very high density, making tungsten heads the perfect choice for flies that need to quickly reach the bottom. They are especially used for nymphs, P&T flies, and coastal flies. Unfortunately, tungsten is considerably more expensive than regular goldheads, but it's also much more effective for getting deep. We use tungsten for a wide variety of things since it sinks incredibly fast and can give even large flies a distinct diving motion in the water. We have a very wide selection of different designs and colors. Simultaneously, we offer sizes for every purpose, ranging from 2.0 mm for the smallest nymphs to 5.5 mm, which we use for large streamers or pike flies.
