Here we have collected our favorite sea trout lures for winter fishing.

In the cold water, the focus is on smaller baits that even the most shy trout cannot handle.

The classic colors for this fishing are white, pink and silver.

We ourselves are very happy to also use orange or a black/red combo - it's really something we have good experience with.

Sea trout lures for winter fishing

For winter fishing it is important to use relatively light baits, or at leastsea trout winkwith a low density.

This is a necessity, as the fish are often in schools, in full water, in coves and holes. The best sea trout lures of the winter are the lures that you can fish here. These are often sandeel runners, as they have a low density, but also baits such as Blixx or Stikpillen, can be poisonous.

The screw is another good option, as it, like the suppository, can be fished with very long stops, where the rotation around its own axis means that you are actually fishing actively, all the while your lure "stands still".

Can you catch sea trout in winter?

Yes, you can certainly catch sea trout in the winter. The fish are often in warm "pockets", which either appear in bathtubs or when the current pushes a lot of warm water in to the outer coast. It is here in particular that you can experience wild fishing.

The sea trout are often shiny and in good shape, which makes it a fun and exciting fishery. It's just a matter of getting out there.
