"A fly needs eyes to find the fish" said Mikael Frödin once. Unfortunately, the Jungle Cock is an endangered species, and it is sometimes difficult to obtain necks legally. That is why we have artificial substitutes that can replace the rare feathers. We have carefully selected the best artificial junglecocks from both Pro Sportsfisher and The flycompany. There are many on the market, but the Pro Sportsfisher HD Junglecock in particular is in a class of its own. These come in a range of very good sizes from 3xs to xl and look really great on the flies. They are made from a very durable stretchy material that can be stretched over a nail to make it easier to work with when casting and a better run of the fly in the water. The junglecocks we have from The Fly Company are cheaper but still as close as possible to the original without being a feather.
