Swiss CDC is the best CDC feather we have ever tied with. These "Ultra Select XL" feathers, in particular, are hand-picked feathers – meaning the best of the best. They are exceptionally large and beautiful CDC feathers of the absolute finest quality on the market. Perfect for the dry fly enthusiast. Size XL indicates that these feathers are specially chosen for quality and size, making them excellent for patterns like CDC shrimps and other body hackles. We sell a lot in pink, especially to coastal fishermen, because patterns like the CDC shrimp have been on the rise in recent years. CDC is not only for dry flies; sea trout also love a CDC fly.
