Paragraphs
A paragraph (from the Greek paragraphos, "to write beside" or "written beside") is a self-contained unit of a discourse in writing dealing with a particular point or idea. A paragraph consists of one or more sentences. Although not required by the syntax of any language, paragraphs are usually an expected part of formal writing, used to organize longer prose.
Blockquotes
A block quotation (also known as a long quotation or extract) is a quotation in a written document, which is set off from the main text as a paragraph, or block of text.
It is typically distinguished visually using indentation and a different typeface or smaller size quotation. It may or may not include a quote, usually placed at the bottom.
