This classic Rapala wobbler is an absolute must-have in every serious tackle box. The wobbler is buoyant and available in several colors. The most popular colors for Danish trout fishing are orange, fire tiger and rainbow trout. It is made of balsa wood and has been in Rapala's range since 1936. It is probably the wobbler that has caught the most sea trout in Danish rivers.
This 7 cm variant is super popular for sea trout fishing in the stream. It weighs only four grams and is buoyant, which means you can cast it out into the stream and let it drift down to the hotspot under the trees before starting your spin. The enticing gait has tempted many large sea trout over the years. This size variant is a rock-solid choice when fishing in the stream, but it also works really well in the put & take lake.
It is used both for fishing in daylight, but especially also for night fishing. At night, the spinning should be extremely slow, so that the wobbler only fishes just below the surface. In daylight, it is advantageous to retrieve the wobbler at a slightly higher pace, but with sporadic spin-stops or a careful wiggle of the rod tip. It works its way down the water column evenly and calmly. The working depth is typically no more than 1.5 meters, but is primarily controlled by current conditions and the spinning speed.
