Description

The Savage Gear Defiance SG6 Egi rods are mastered for the specialized technique of squid fishing, crafted using the latest Japanese design philosophies. These technical rods feature shorter handle lengths to reduce wrist strain while maximizing the casting length above the handle, allowing for longer and more precise casts compared to traditional egi rods of the same size. The additional space in the rod blank creates a better curve for easier hooking of squid and reduces the chances of lure tearing. These rods are perfect for fishing squid from harbors, rocky shores, and while wading.

Equipped with FUJI reel seats for stability and comfort
High-quality FUJI SiC guides for smooth line flow and durability
Blank designed for extra-long casts using 24T and 30T high modulus carbon fiber
Tough EVA handles ensure a firm grip in various fishing conditions
Includes deluxe rod bags for protection and easy transport

Fishing Methods: Specialized egi fishing for squid, typically practiced in coastal saltwater environments from harbors, rocky areas, or while wading.

It would be absolutely unfair to give less than 5 to the guys from NA. I have personally picked up goods from their warehouse in Randers and have been met with kindness and a long and pleasant fishing chat on top of that. I called Daniel again the next day for a price match, which he gladly accepted. It's a pleasure to shop there. This means it's not the last time I'll be shopping with them. Last but not least, it's the fly fisherman's candy store😋
